2018, From Zero to One
In 2018, we secured the contract for the first vessel of the polar cruise ship "Sun Stone Infinity". It was one of the world's most advanced polar expedition cruise ships at the time, destined to sail in the Antarctic waters where temperatures drop dozens of degrees below zero.
But the real test began at the China Merchants Haimen Shipyard.
As a "newcomer" collaborating for the first time, high-quality products were merely the entry ticket; seamless cooperation was the lifeline.

SOLAFAR products have followed MAKINEN's projects from the Arctic Circle to the Antarctic, from China Merchants Haimen Shipyard in China to shipyards in Chile, South America.
How harsh is the marine environment? The letter states clearly:
"Low humidity, seawater corrosion, high-intensity passenger traffic – they remain in good condition despite continuous use in extremely harsh marine environments."
