Imagine a world where ants (among other animals) where viewed as sentient and their rights, deserving of ethical considerations? They are complex and uniquely suited yet small enough to be brushed away like dirt. Either they are truly insignificant or just too small for serious ethical considerations. With all we cherish to save and preserve, ant’s must learn to just get out of our way until we decide differently.
The Clockwork Ant, was built to reflect the complexity and potential of the common ant (while ironically being unable to perform with a fraction of an ant’s true merit).
- He is an original sculpture made of wire, clay, watch parts, paint, and a few other additional parts. He is a free standing sculpture, not permanently affixed to a base.
- His dimension are 2 1/2″ wide, 5″ front to back, 2″ tall. He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly, very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.
